Truffle hunting experience in Tuscany
My daughter and I will be in Florence in October. Can you recommend a truffle hunting experience and also a day trip to Siena and San Gimignano.

San Miniato is a charming little hill town located between Florence and Pisa, and is renowned for having the best white truffles in the region. You can have a great truffle hunting experience with Massimo of Truffle in Tuscany. This experience is also recommended on the official site for Italian Tourism here.
Are you staying in Florence’s center? If you’re not moving by car you can still visit some of the best attractions of Tuscany using only public transportation. Both Siena and San Gimignano can be reached by bus from the bus station next the Santa Maria Novella train station.
