What is the best driving tour from Tuscany to Rome?
Hi Elena,
Our son is getting married this September near Siena at a place called Borgo San Felice. My wife and I would like to plan a good driving tour from Siena back to Rome between September 29 and October 1. Can you recommend an enjoyable driving itinerary/ My wife is an artist so I suspect we should visit Florence as part of the trip. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and all the best.

Borgo San Felice is enchanting, congratulations for the upcoming wedding of your son
As for a good driving tour from Siena back to Rome, you may start by having a look at this road trip I suggest among the most scenic routes of Tuscany. It passes through the amazing lands of the Crete Senesi and the Val d’Orcia, incredibly scenic areas of Tuscany.
As you go down south toward Rome you might consider heading east to reach and visit the beautiful ancient hill towns of Civita di Bagnoregio and Orvieto.
Finally, also take a look at this itinerary from Rome to Tuscany and back, Florence is definitely part of it
