Hi,
You have a great blog. My wife and I are are spending a week in Rome with group from Rome Academy and Univ. of TX. We are then own our own and are traveling to Florence area, San Francesco, for a few days on Oct. 6. We have plans to do day trips to Florence from there. Is that a good idea? We would also like to visit other small towns east of Florence, but not rule out heading over to Siena early and tour that area. We have to be back in Rome Oct. 14 and fly out Oct. 15. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
