Tuscan coastline Where to go?

Hello!Your blog is fantastic and I hope you could possibly help give some advice for me and my boyfriend who are traveling to Tuscany this September. We are starting in Florence for two nights and then want to head to the coast by car for 4 nights. We want to go somewhere close to nice beaches and a seafront with restaurants/bars- is there anywhere in particular you would recommend? We then travel inland near to Monte San Savino for 5 nights . Any recommendations for places to visit near here are also welcomed!Thank you

Hi,
Happy you like my blog thanks!

Florence is really a good start for your trip! The town is simply beautiful and offers a lot to see and do.

As far as a lovely place on the coast, among my most favorite destinations are Castiglion della Pescaia and Monte Argentario, both located in the Maremma region in southern Tuscany.
Another possibility would be the lively coastal town of Viareggio with long sandy beaches and a lot of services and a lively nightlife.
Depends on what you’re looking for… Monte Argentario and Castiglion della Pescaia are more characteristic, enjoy more beautiful views over the sea, and have clear waters, Viareggio is a more lively town.

The area around Monte San Savino is wonderful and a lesser known area of Tuscany…here nature is beautiful, while food is excellent!
Among the most popular and stunning art towns to visit are Arezzo, Siena, Montepulciano, and Cortona, all worth a visit. Other day trips might be taken to smaller fascinating villages like Lucignano and Castiglion Fiorentino, and Anghiari, all beautiful!
The famous Chianti wine area is only one hour drive’s away, while the Val d’Orcia (the stunning Pienza in particular) is about 40 minutes distance. There’s a lot to see!
Choose the places that are most inspiring to you! Don’t miss Siena, Montepulciano, and Cortona!

I’m here for any other further question,

Enjoy your Tuscan trip!
