Hi, we arrive into pisa and want to start our break at a nice beachside (sandy) area and a nice hotel, any suggestions?
We want to really experience all the best of Tuscany, we are going for one week. We would like to visit some nice places and enjoy the food and wine, I know it’s a long list of wants but any tips would be greatly appreciated!
Many Thanks
Mel

Hi Mel,
Thanks a lot for getting in touch.
As for your break at a nice sandy beachside, how far from Pisa were you thinking? Right near Pisa are the sandy beaches of Tirrenia, where a good hotel is the Grand Hotel Continental. Short north of Pisa is the more lively Viareggio, again with sandy beaches and more services. There you may consider a stay at the luxury Hotel Principe di Piemonte.
As you speak about experiencing all the best of Tuscany you can start by having a look at the best attractions in the region and to this list of the most beautiful Tuscan villages.
Florence, Siena, Chianti area, San Gimignano, Val d’Orcia Park…Tuscany has so many incredible sights
Here you can find some tips on how to plan a week in Tuscany, while to enjoy food and wine don’t miss visiting Chianti and Val d’Orcia.
Take a look at the links and for further tips, just let me know,
Have a nice weekend,
elena
