I like to visit medieval cities and Towns, but at the same time I would like to combine with beautiful beaches as well. Is there any awesome place in the coastline of Tuscany that you would recommend? If so which one should be the base to stay and have access to everything I want to see?
Thanks!
Monte Argentario is an awesome place on the coastline of Tuscany. This peculiar rocky promontory offers suggestive ancient fishing villages like Porto Ercole, a beautiful sea with clear waters, and great views all over the sea. It’s a great place to stay and you have both sandy beaches and rocky caves.
As your base inland, you might consider staying in Chianti or in Val d’Orcia, the most beautiful and scenic areas of the region amid the countryside. Both are incredibly beautiful and perfect to visit the best and most famous attractions of Tuscany, like Florence, Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano, and the many stupendous medieval cities and small towns across the region, like the ones in this list.
Let me know if you have any more question,
Happy planning!
