Hello! I’m planning my trip with my husband. We will be there the first week of September and we are in our 30’s. We rented a car to go from Cinque Terre to Florence and have 6 nights to spend in Tuscany (including Florence).
Which places do you suggest me to visit? Where should we stay?
Thank you very much!

Hi,
thanks a lot for coming here
The Cinque Terre are beautiful, you may even spend a night there and have dinner at a characteristic restaurant.
6 nights in Tuscany are enough to see its main and most beautiful sights. You can get an idea of a week itinerary in Tuscany reading here. The destinations I would not miss are of course Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, San Gimignano, Chianti, and the Val d’Orcia.
If you would like to stay at one single place you might stay at a central location in Tuscany, like San Gimignano or the Chianti wine area. You might also pass one night or 2 in Florence historic center.
In case you’d like to add a further base, definitely go south and stay in the breathtaking Val d’Orcia region, so enchanting! Here are unforgettable villages like Pienza or Montalcino.
