How to plan Tuscany
Hi I am Spandana from India I am planning my trip in the month of February around 25.2.2016 is that right time to visit Tuscany if yes(I am particularly visiting for scenic beauty )
I am planning from Pisa to Tuscany could you suggest me cheapest means of transportation ?
i am very particular about valdorcia because of its scenic beauty and want to stay alteast one day in valdorcia so could you suggest me how to reach and stay in (I love Italian food I wanna try some home cooked food so could you suggest me. Home stays)

The best time to visit Tuscany for its scenic scenery is certainly during Spring, from the end of March. That’s the time when flowers start to blossom and fields get green again.
Take a look at some info about how is the weather in Tuscany. The best way to explore Tuscany is by car but the cheapest means of transportation is with public transportation, train or bus.
The Val d’Orcia is surely one of the most fascinating corners of Tuscany, I’m in love with it. It is all soft hills, hill towns, castles, abbeys, and unique panoramas. Right because of this the best way to travel it is by having a car, though you may still reach its main villages like Montalcino, Pienza, and Montepulciano by public transports.
As you love home cooked food a great place to stay is Agriturismo il Rigo, a typical Tuscan farmhouse with great home cooking and stunning views over Pienza.
