Hello,
My husband and I are planning our first trip to Italy in June. Having never been there, I want to fit everything in. I don’t want to rush through and not take everything in, either. We will have two weeks and are thinking of Rome, Positano, Florence (or Tuscany area) and Venice. Is it possible to add a few day trips in with these stops and not leave feeling like we need another vacation? Thank you.
Thanks for coming here
Rome, Positano (Amalfi Coast), Florence/Tuscany, and Venice are the most popular and most beautiful sights in Italy. They are all part of my suggested tour of Italy, take a look
There’s so much to see in Italy, that you also have to take your time a bit and relax. That’s why I suggest you add some other day trips while in Tuscany. After the visit to Florence, capital of Tuscany, you might base somewhere beautiful in the Tuscan countryside, like in Chianti or in the scenic Val d’Orcia. Personally I’m in love with Val d’Orcia, from where you could see many beautiful places (see end of this post).
There you can relax and if you’re in the mood, tour the many treasures nearby.

Have a great weekend,
