A week in Tuscany and Lake Como

Hi, Elena. Really enjoying your blog. Great help. I\’d like to spend a week or so in Tuscany. As I arrive in Milan by plane, where do you suggest to going, besides Tuscany? Lake Como or Garda would be wonderful? How could I be doing this? . My trip will be in September. How about the temperatures? Thanks a lot for your attention. Marcia

Hi, Elena. Thanks for your prompt reply. Great ideas. I’ll take a very careful look on your posts about Tour of Italy and Planning the perfect trip to Tuscany.We are 3 couples planning to travel together. Any suggestions about what kind of car to travel around? I’m a little worried about the bags, at least 6 medium suitcases…Thanks again.Marcia

I have a preference for Lake Como You may reach the lake when arriving in Milan and spend there 1 or 2 nights. Another great destination to visit besides Tuscany is undoubtedly Venice! My suggested tour of Italy can give you an idea on that!

Well for the car I presume you’ll need a very large car or van, you can have a look a this website where you can select the cars for number of seats and number of bags,
