Roadtrip from Bari to Portugal
Hello Elena! Thank you so much for the information. I am about to do a roadtrip on the 21st of August. We will start from Bari and take the south way to pass by Napoli, Rome, Genoa etc. Which places you recommend to visit ? I love wine tasting and good food.

Sounds like a challenging trip through Italy and Europe
Here are the places I recommend you visit on your road trip:
-Amalfi Coast and Naples, the Costiera Amalfiana is simply breathtaking, Amalfi, Sorrento, and Positano are beautiful
-Reggia di Caserta, north of Naples is this splendid historic residence, visit it!
-Rome, the eternal city of Rome will enchant you
-Tuscany, this incredible region has countless and surprising attractions
-Genova and the Cinque Terre passing from Lucca in Tuscany; the Cinque Terre are another must see in Italy
From Rome to Tuscany you can drive down to a very scenic route with many sights and suggestive hill towns to visit… Civita di Bagnoregio, Orvieto, the Bolsena Lake, and then the beautiful scenic Val d’Orcia Natural park with its stunning hill villages, and then Siena and Florence. Take a look at my suggested road trip from Rome to Florence through the most impressive attractions of Tuscany.
As you love wine tasting and good food, Tuscany is the best place to be. The 2 most beautiful areas in Tuscany, Chianti and Val d’Orcia are also renowned for their excellent food and wines. The landscape here is enchanting…green everywhere, vineyards, olive groves, hill towns, castles.
