Ideas for a 4 day stay
Hi Elena looking for ideas for a 4 day stay 3rd till 7th of June this year travelling from Venice by train. Would be good to squeeze in a castle stay if possible or are we trying for too much in a short space of time?

Thanks so much for contacting me I’m very happy to help you planning your trip to Tuscany!
If you like castles (like me!) I would put a stay in your itinerary. Since you’re coming from Venice by train, you’ll get to the Santa Maria Novella train station and you may choose Florence as your base to explore the rest of Tuscany. You may decide to stay at a castle nearby Florence for 1 or 2 nights and the other 2 nights in Florence, I would dedicate 1 full day to explore Florence itself and another one to make some day trips using public transportation or through some good organized tours.
Here my suggestions for wonderful castles near Florence:

Castello di Meleto
Castello di Tornano
