Planning a 2.5 day trip in Florence
We will be staying in Florence for 2.5 days coming up in 2 weeks. We’d love to drive around Tuscany. What are the must sees in Florence and a day drive in the countryside? Where is the best place to rent a car in Florence and the approximate price?

Here you can find all of Florence must sees Uffizi, Palazzo Vecchio, the Duomo and the Cupola del Brunelleschi and many others…
For a drive in the countryside starting from Florence, I recommend the Chianti wine area and its scenic countryside and the fascinating San Gimignano, still in the Chianti region but on its western side.
Cars in Florence can be rented right near Santa Maria Novella train station. Check here for fares and the exact place where to pick your car up in Florence.
