Hi Elena!
I’m planning a trip to Tuscany with my boyfriend for 2 weeks and I would like to get your opinion (according to your experiences)
This is the itinary that I planned :
13 oct : departure from montreal
14 oct : arrival to Florence, X1 night in florence
15oct : Rent a car and departure for Ciciano, X 7 nights at Podere di Santa Maria (Val di merse)
Wish list:
– Valorcia
– Siena
– Chiusdino + Monticiano
– horseriding (Val di merse)
– Crete Senesi
– Maremma –> Waterfall saturnia and exploring
– Chianti shire –> wine, wine and wine..
22 oct : go back to Florence (get the car back) departure with train for Cinque terre X5days/4nights
– hiking, terrasse, villages—> relax et improvisation !
26 oct : departure for Florence, X1 night
27 oct : departure of Florence
28 oct : arrival to Montreal
There is so many things to see and to do !! I’m too excited about all the informations that I found.. so this is my selection.

You’re right! There are so many things to see and discover that it might be very difficult to make a selection
Tuscany in particular is full in amazing sights. I understand you’ll make the Val di Merse your base to explore Tuscany, which can be a good location for the destinations on your list, the farthest place being at little more than 2 hours distance.
The Cinque Terre are beautiful and since you also wish for relax et improvisation, 5 days will be ok!
