Hi
We are planning our first and hopefully not last trip to Tuscany in July this year. The Il Chiostro del Carmine has been recommended as we want to see Tuscany by day and enjoy the pleasures of Siena by night without driving. What is your opinion of this hotel please?
Many thanks and look forward to hearing from you.
First time to Tuscany? You will certainly would like to come again soon
Siena is such a wonderful town! I love it! Il Chiostro del Carmine is a good option as a base in Siena’s historic center, it’s quiet and comfortable. Rooms are nice but some may be small, so I’d recommend booking larger rooms (deluxe).
Campo Regio Relais is a further option I recommend. Still in the city center, just 5 minutes walk from Piazza del Campo, Campo Regio is very charming and enjoys splendid views over the city.
Siena is a great home base to go exploring Tuscany, here is a list of the best day trips you can enjoy starting from Siena, all fantastic destinations!
Enjoy your summer vacation to Tuscany,
Ciao from Florence,
elena
