I so enjoy your blog and Instagram. Thanks for sharing. The area that you keep posting is near where my Babbo grew up. I\’m hoping to plan a trip soon. He was born in Pescia and raised there and Monsummano. Wondering if you ever get to these little villages/towns? And if so I would love to here of places you suggest to stay and things to do in those areas. I follow you on Instagram, acnoble If you like you can tag me if you get to these areas. Again, thanks, beautiful pics Anna
I do thank you very much fo your nice words! I’m happy you enjoy my blog and my Instagram pics
Well, I actually live few kilometers away from Monsummano Terme, in the countryside near the town of Fucecchio.
Pescia is really a very charming town, I’ve been there many times
Here are other lovely villages I suggest you visit in the area:
Pistoia: enchanting small town where to enjoy great food
Montecatini Terme: lively town famous for its thermal baths, you could enjoy some relax here!
Montecarlo di Lucca: wonderful medieval village encircled by walls with great vistas all around
Collodi: one of the most charming and lesser known corner of Tuscany, read about it here together with other off the beaten path villages in Tuscany
Buggiano Castello, an icredibly characteristic tiny village atop a hill with a splendid panorama
Lucca: the beautiful town all surrounded by perfect walls, a real jewel
Viareggio and Versilia: if you like to enjoy some beach time, in less than 40 minutes you can reach seaside destinations like the lively Viareggio in Versilia
Be sure I will tag you in the pics
Have a nice day,
Elena
