When I was looking for accomodation in Tuscany I stumbled upon your website. A great website!!
I was wondering if you could recommened an appartement (or something else) in Tuscany. My boyfriend and I are traveling to Italy on the 14th of September, where we will attent a wedding on the 19th. We would love to discover the many wonders of tuscany during the day and we\’d love to enjoy a good glass of wine in the evening, preferably at a nice town square.
Is there a place that comes to mind?
Thanks in advance for your trouble.
Kind regards,

Thanks a lot for contacting me!
First time to Tuscany and Italy? Where are you attending the wedding?
Well, you say you’d like to enjoy a good glass of wine in the evening, at a nice town square. What soon comes to my mind is the lovely village of Bagno Vignoni to the south of Siena, in the stupendous rural area known by the name of Val d’Orcia.
Here the landscape is unique, and you may use Bagno Vignoni as a base to explore Tuscany.
In Bagno Vignoni I recommend the cosy ad romantic B&B La Locanda del Loggiato, next to a wine bar that faces the beautiful suggestive square of the village. Piazza delle Sorgenti is a unique square as it is actually occupied by an ancient Renaissance pool with hot thermal waters. By the way, you can enjoy these fantastic thermal baths while here!
You may stay in Bagno Vignoni for half your stay, and spend the remaining days more near Florence, maybe in the beautiful Chianti area, famous for its delightful landscape and fine wines.
In his regard, I suggest to have a look at this article on the blog where I actually speak about Chianti and Valdorcia as great home bases to explore the region.
Let me know if I can help with further suggestions,
Ciao from Florence,
elena
